EMPORIA, Kan. – The Washburn Ichabod men's track and field team had one event winner along with six top-10 finishes on the second day of the ESU Relays finishing 11th overall in the team competition. Washburn returns to action on Friday at the Washington U Distance Carnival and the Southwest Baptist Invitational on Saturday.
The 1600m sprint medley relay squad of
Dalton White,
Keshawn Martin,
Jacob Herr and
Tyler Mooney won the event in a time of 3:35.02.
Jordan Dale recorded a top-five finish in the high jump placing fifth overall with a mark of 1.99m (6-06.25).
In the pole vault,
Zac Chandler returned to action finishing sixth in the pole vault with a mark of 4.40m (14-05.25) tying with
Mitchell Thompson.
