HAYS, Kan. – The Washburn Ichabod men's track and field team went to Hays, America and came back to Topeka with three NCAA provisional marks, 12 personal bests and 14 top-five finishes at the FHSU Alex Francis Classic on Thursday.

The Ichabods' Ja'Laveyn January and Wyatt Heiman went 4-5 in the 100m with times of 10.50 and 10.52 respectively both earning NCAA provisional marks. January also finished second in the 200m and Heiman was fourth in the 200m.

In the 110m hurdles, the Ichabods took the top three spots with Mitchell Thompson placing first (15.64), Tommy Lancaster was second (16.09) with a personal best and Carson Faurot was third (17.25).

Allesandro Di Gregorio placed third in the high jump with a personal best of 2.03m (6-08.00) and Jordan Dale was fourth at 1.98m (6-06.00). Di Gregorio also finished second in the triple jump with a distance of 13.88m (45-06.60).

Mitch Miller placed second in both the discus and the hammer throw. He had an NCAA provisional mark in the hammer throw along with a personal best at 57.85m (189-10) and his throw in the discus was 50.37m (165-03). Jaden Magana was fourth in the discus at 48.97m (160-08).

Zac Chandler was fifth in the pole vault at a height of 4.71m (15-05.50).
