Don Prince played three seasons for the Ichabod football team after transferring into the program. Prince played on the defensive line from 1967-69 and earned second team all-CIC honors as a sophomore. As a junior, he was selected first team all-CIC and he followed that up with first team all-RMAC honors as a senior. He graduated in 1970 with his bachelor's degree in psychology and was inducted into the Washburn Athletic Hall of Fame in 2007.
