Washburn University Athletics

Lelus Brown was a multi-sport athlete at Washburn University. He played center-guard positions during his time on the Ichabod basketball squad. He scored the winning basket in 1937 to beat Wichita State. Brown was also the highest point scorer during Washburn’s game against Drake that same year. He was inducted into the Washburn Hall of Fame in 1988.
