Ronald Ford - Men's Basketball (1962-66)
Ronald Ford was one of the most consistent performers in Ichabod basketball history playing from 1962-1966. He was inducted into the Washburn Athletics Hall of Fame in 1999-00.
Ford quickly made his presence felt by stepping in as a starter his freshman season and scoring 131 points, third most on the team.
After a great start to his career, Ford continued to shine and garnered second team all-Central Intercollegiate Conference honors his junior year before a successful senior campaign. Ford capped a solid career during the 1965-66 season by leading the Ichabods with 386 points and 184 rebounds and was named to the all-CIC first team.
His 386 points his final year put his career total at 1,055, making him only the second Ichabod at the time to break the 1,000 point plateau.
