Warren Shaw - Football (1927-30)
Warren Shaw was captain of the 1929 and 1930 Washburn football teams under coach Ernest Bearg. In 1930, Washburn only lost two games the entire season and won the championship in the Central Kansas Conference. Shaw was the all-state center and all-conference center in 1930 and captain of the all-conference team. He was inducted into the Washburn Athletic Hall of Fame in 1970.
