Rick DeHart - Baseball (1990-91)
Despite playing only two seasons at Washburn University, DeHart owns the school record for strikeouts in a season with 100 and and finished his career fourth in all-time career strikeouts with 167. After earning NAIA All-America honors for Washburn in 1990, DeHart pitched 16 seasons professionally from 1992-2008, including four seasons in the majors (1997-99, 2003) for the Montreal Expos and Kansas City Royals. The left-hander finished his major league career as a relief pitcher with a 2-3 record, 6.14 ERA and one save in 63 innings pitched. He was inducted into the Washburn Athletics Hall of Fame in 2005.
